  B. Eng IT Engineer (University of Brescia, 2004),
  M. Eng Telecommunications Enginner (University of Brescia, 2008),
Ph. D Electronic Instrumentation (University of Brescia, 2011),
Ph. D Optoelectronics (University of Limoges, 2011)

In 2011, Marco earned Ph.Ds in Electronic Instrumentation and Optoelectronics from the University of Brescia and the University of Limoges respectively. He then worked at the Xlim research Institute at the University of Limoges on Fiber and solid-state nonlinear optics, before joining the Molecular Photonics group in March 2012. Here he is working on stabalizing laser systems and on CARS, his research interests being nonlinear optics and biophotonics. Outside of work, he enjoys sports in general, particularly basketball and watersports like surfing.
